To achieve the purpose of St. Ann’s School the faculty and staff will assist each student to:
- Understand and embrace the traditions, values and doctrines of the Catholic Church.
- Realize the power of prayer and the sacraments in their lives and commit themselves toparticipation in the liturgical and sacramental life of the Church.
- Development an attitude of respect for the dignity of all persons, as displayed in politeness and kindness toward others, openness to people who are different from themselves and concern for the poor and the disadvantaged.
- Develop a strong sense of personal responsibility for academic progress.
- Learn and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
- Learn the values of honesty, responsibility, and hard work and apply those values to individual/group goals in athletic activities.
- Develop positive personal health habits, especially in the areas of drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
- Realize that learning is a life long process.
- Achieve excellence at their own stage of intellectual and physical development, in the areas of reading, writing, mathematics, spelling, speaking, listening, reasoning, computing, and studying.
- Respect the arts and develop individual artistic talents.
- Develop skills in the areas of leadership, teamwork and cooperation through individual and group endeavors.
